Cardboard labels of different density, ranging from 200 gm to 700 gm, as well as various types of additional processing such as foil stamping, embossing hot stamping, UV-Varnish, 3D UV-Flak, glossy lamination, matte lamination, soft-touch lamination, silk-screen printing, are available.
HOW CARDBOARD LABELS ARE PRINTED
Cardboard labels are printed either according to Pantone Matching System or to the CMYK colour model.
Pantone Matching System is an international colour standardization system, where colours are selected from a catalogue. In this case, the probability of finding the matching colour is very high.
The CMYK colour model involves the mixing of four colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key / black) in varying proportions. This model is used for small order quantities in order to save money. In this case, there may be an obvious discrepancy between the printed colours both in different editions and between different pages of the same edition. One and the same colour can appear in different shades.
Depending on the client's specifications, cardboard labels can be cut in a variety of shapes - a regular rectangular shape or in non-standard geometric shapes.
